Monteficalle Supertuscan IGT
This barrique-aged wine with its modern taste is a combination of french grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and the classical tuscan Sangiovese grape.
After vinification this wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels (barriques) which are substituted every two years.
The production of this valuable wine is very limited. In fact, every year we produce maximum 400 bottles (35 cases).
Wine of an intense red- ruby with violet notes and a rich spicy perfume with hints of coffee and cocoa. It is a wine of very good structure, rich in nobile tanins that combined with the tanins of the wood donate complexity and harmony to the flavour.
