My husband, Ron, and I are staying at the beautiful B&B Le Fate owned and operated by Stefania Balducci in Montefioralle. We first experienced your magnificant wine at the Restaurant La Castellana. We visited your winery yesterday (05MAY11). Fernando, you were not there, but your son, Lorenzo, and his lovely wife, Manilla, were so knowlegeable and gracious and your wine, the BEST we've tasted in all the world. I broke my ankle before we came here, and getting around Montefioralle has been extremely difficult. But, I am glad we managed to make it to your winery . We purchased 4 cases..gifts for our large family and friends, and we'll order more when we run out. But I dream of the day when I can once again walk, and we will return for a complete tour of your best-in-the-world winery. THANK YOU for the beautiful wine and memory.

Late one afternoon (Sept. '09) we walked through this gorgeous little town. The door to the wine shop was open and we were treated to a wine tasting. The 2006 reserve (combination of grapes-only 400 bottles produced/yr) is fantastic. Rich, smooth, like velvet-wonderfully complex. I should have bought more!

We loved our week in Montefioralle and enjoyed so much your wonderful wine. Thank you Fernando! We are so glad we brought some home. We forward to coming again!! Steve & Lisa Taylor

I visited Montefioralle winery this past summer and had the time of my life. Fernando gave us a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. His wines were so good that we ordered over 6 bottles and had them shipped back to the states. On a 2 week cruise and European vacation; Montefioralle castle and winery was BY FAR our absolute favorite. We still talk about how amazing Fernando was. I even have the picture of us all drinking the wine with him. YUM!!!

One of the greatest highlights was the day Fernando presented us with your wonderful wine your family produces! I was able to hold the grapes befor the harvest and my daughter Leslie and I wanted so to be apart of the 2007 harvest. We also had the opportunity to share in tasting the best olive oid and bread I have ever tasted. A special thank you for the hospitality shown us. One of the special moments was spent during our Christmas celebration. Leslie and I shared a bottle of 2003 Vin Santo with my 87 year old mother, brothers, sister and children. It was as if Fernando was sitting at the table with us. Thank you.

What a wonderful experience and lovely hospitality. The owner met us in the main parking lot and brought us up to his shop. He had a quaint table set up in the back room for the tasting and prepared several dishes of various salami, prosciutto, bruschetta to accompany each wine. The Chianti Classico 2003, Chianti Riserva and IGT are amazing! The Vin Santo was wonderful with the pecorino and honey. Fernando was fabulous and informative. I will bring more friends back! Thank you!!!!!!!

The highlite of my trip to Italy was the outdoor lunch we enjoyed on Sunday April 22nd 2007 with Fernando Sieni. His love of life is a joy. I cannot image a better life. I shall return. Dan DeLorenzo

Dear Fernando, I got the most heart-warming experience with you on 7th September. Your and your field's hospitality was so splendid, so we felt it was really short time visiting you. I greatly appreciate your welcome for such a wine amateur guys.

When Silvio offered us the chance to visit you, we jumped at the opportunity. Your hospitality was bettered only by your wine. We loved your wonderful home and Montefioralle was one of the most picturesque hamlets we visited. Thank you so much for spending your time with us and, more importantly, thank you for spending your time with the vineyard and the winery. If you are ever in Houston, please do not hesitate to visit us.

We were on a tour with Monika on June 29th and had a lovely time having lunch in your vineyard. We purchased a case of wine and were wondering when we should expect it.We have a lovely picture of the four of us after the tour and will try to send it shortly

Dear Fernando! I know you will remember the Schickler Family! We have just moved from Manhattan Beach, California, and are now settled in Seattle, Washington. I hope that someday you will come to visit us! We save one last bottle of your wonderful wine to celebrate our new home . . . a wonderful excuse to visit again to get more!
