The Wines of the Montefioralle Castle

As every year, the event came to be known as the Wine of the Castle is taking place in Montefioralle

The medieval village of Montefioralle is hosting the local wine producers who will let people taste their own wines in the stands put up on purpose on the main streets of the village.

Beside the wine tasting session with the locally produced wines, it will be possible to taste several typical local food ranges.

Grape harvest 2007: a great vintage.

The grape harvest of 2007 was terminated on the first days of October, The very dry Summer and the long sunny days that lasted until the end of September brought the grapes to a perfect maturation condition. The study done on the must's samples showed an optimal alcoholic strenght. All the conditions are met for making of the 2007 vintage a splendid Chianti Classico wine.

The Chianti Classico 2005 was bottled.

The Chianti Classico of the 2005 vintage was bottled on the first days of September. The wine will be put on sale on December, after a refining period in bottle. The Riserva and the IGT Monteficalle of the same year are at the moment preserved in barriques and will be bottled a year later.

Available for purchase are 'Chianti Classico', the 'Riserva' and the ' Monteficalle' 2004.

Finally is available for purchase the year 2004 of our production in every typologies: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, e IGT 'Monteficalle'.
Analysis and tastings have confirmed the high quality of the wine production of this year.
